Particles work

Our First Second year project was a Drone project where we had to create an enviroment for a drone to travel around, for this project i was assinged with the projects FX, meaning it was my job to create the particles for the enviroment

After learning how to use Unreal's cascade last year I was more then ready to take this role and was enthusiastic about the work.

The project lead had  some ideas for particles that will be needed in our level, and one of them being fire. shortly after i learned how to create a fire particle in unreal and slowly improved it over time, to help with referencing i visited a few games such as Skyrim to study and see how other games have done fire this helped with the development as this showed how much attention others give to these particles.

Another requested one was a sandstorm. after some adjustments to a smoke particle i had created before I was able to create a sandstorm, along with this I added an extra emitter to add dust into the storm to add another layer of life into the storm as shown on the video to the left
